STORY

GUZZLER AND STAIN ISN'T ABOUT BEING PERFECT

It’s about having lived. About getting your hands dirty. Making mistakes. Going too far. Starting over. Laughing at yourself. Collecting stories. And wearing the evidence.

Because I believe the things that leave a mark on you are often the things that make you who you are.

This is GUZZLER AND STAIN. I’ve always been a GUZZLER. To me, a Guzzler is someone who wants to take a big bite out of life. The good stuff. The bad stuff. The stupid decisions. The great decisions. The nights you remember. The nights you probably shouldn’t.

I’ve lived through quite a few phases, collected a ridiculous amount of memories and, along the way, picked up more than a few Stains.

That’s where GUZZLER AND STAIN comes from. The Stains are everything life leaves behind. Experiences. Mistakes. Lessons. People. Places. Heartbreaks. Adventures. Music. Friendship. Chaos. The things that changed me, shaped me, fucked things up, or simply made life worth remembering.

Some stains disappear - Others become part of you.

And somewhere along the way I started feeling this urge to do something with all of it.

Not just keep the memories in my head. Not just tell stories about them. I wanted to turn them into something. Something I could see. Something I could wear. Something that carries a piece of where I’ve been.

That became GUZZLER AND STAIN

The designs are a reflection of those different phases of my life. They are influenced by the things that have always been around me;  skateboarding, graffiti, punk rock, music, parties, street culture and everything that came with it.

BORN IN ’77.
RAISED IN THE ’80s.
PARTIED IN THE ’90s.
NO DIGITAL EVIDENCE.
JUST LEGENDS & RUMORS.

Back then, you could do something incredibly stupid on a Friday night and by Monday it was already becoming a legend. Or a rumor. Usually both. I’ve always been drawn to the skate culture and that raw attitude that comes with it. That feeling of doing your own thing, not worrying too much about what people think and having a healthy “fuck you, I’ll do it my way” mentality. That attitude stayed with me. And now it’s finding its way into the clothes.

Every design is, in some way, a piece of that journey. A memory. An influence. An experience. A phase. A stain. Some are obvious. Some only make sense to me. And some are probably just the result of having too many ideas and not enough common sense. But that’s the point.

WEAR YOUR STAINS.
OWN YOUR STORIES.
LIVE IT LOUD.

GUZZLER & STAIN

Made from experience.
Marked by life.
Still here.
